Refund, Return, and Exchange Policy
This Refund, Return, and Exchange Policy is intended to comply with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and its Executive Regulations. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any mandatory consumer rights provided under applicable Egyptian law.
Non-Customized Products
Non-customized products may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery without providing a reason, provided that the product:
- Is unused and undamaged.
- Remains in its original condition.
- Is returned in its original packaging.
- Is not subject to any applicable legal exception.
Custom-Made Products
Products manufactured upon the client's request or according to dimensions, materials, fabrics, colors, finishes, or other specifications selected or approved by the client cannot be returned, exchanged, or cancelled solely because of a change of mind, provided that the delivered product conforms to the client-approved specifications.
This restriction applies only to change-of-mind requests. It does not affect the client's rights where a custom-made product has a verified manufacturing defect or does not conform to the specifications approved by the client.
Defective or Non-Conforming Products
If a product has a verified manufacturing defect or does not conform to the agreed or client-approved specifications, the client must notify Cozyology Furniture within 30 days of receiving the product.
In accordance with applicable Egyptian consumer protection law, the client may request an eligible replacement or return and refund.
Where a refund is approved, it will be issued through the same payment method used for the original purchase, subject to the legally applicable procedures and timeframes.
Natural Materials & Handcrafted Products
The following are not considered manufacturing defects, provided they do not cause the product to materially differ from the agreed specifications:
- Natural variations in wood grain or wood tone.
- Variations in fabric texture.
- Variations resulting from natural materials.
- Minor differences resulting from handmade or handcrafted finishing.
These characteristics are inherent to natural materials and handcrafted furniture and may result in slight variations between individual products.
Change-of-Mind Returns
Change-of-mind returns, exchanges, or cancellations are not accepted for custom-made products when the delivered product conforms to the dimensions, materials, fabrics, colors, finishes, and other specifications selected or approved by the client.
This does not limit the client's rights in relation to defective or non-conforming products under applicable Egyptian consumer protection law.
