Terms and Conditions
Cozyology Furniture
Last Updated: September 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Cozyology Furniture website and the purchase of products and services from Cozyology Furniture. By accessing our website, placing an order, requesting a custom-made product, or otherwise purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, limit, or restrict any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable Egyptian law.
1. Website Use
The Cozyology Furniture website is provided for customers to browse our furniture collections, obtain product information, submit customization requirements, communicate with us, and place orders.
You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, security, content, or functionality.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue website features where reasonably necessary.
2. Product Information and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, materials, finishes, images, colours, and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, colours and finishes may appear slightly different depending on screen settings, lighting, materials, manufacturing characteristics, and other factors.
Product availability may change without notice. Acceptance of an order remains subject to product or production availability.
Where a product is custom-made, the final specifications will be based on the specifications approved by the client.
3. Prices and VAT
Unless otherwise clearly stated, all prices displayed on the Cozyology Furniture website include 14% VAT.
Displayed product prices do not include shipping or transportation charges unless expressly stated otherwise.
Applicable delivery charges will be communicated or calculated according to the customer's delivery location and Cozyology Furniture's current shipping arrangements.
If an obvious pricing or technical error occurs on the website, we reserve the right to correct it, subject to applicable consumer law and any rights already arising from an accepted order.
4. Website Orders and Payment
Orders placed directly through the Cozyology Furniture website require 100% payment at the time of purchase unless another arrangement has been expressly agreed in writing.
Payments are processed using the payment methods and payment service providers made available at checkout.
An order confirmation does not prevent Cozyology Furniture from contacting the customer where additional information is reasonably required to fulfil the order.
5. Custom-Made Orders
Custom-made or specially commissioned furniture may be subject to different payment arrangements from standard website purchases.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
80% of the total agreed price is payable as a deposit before production begins.
The remaining 20% is payable upon delivery and final acceptance.
Production of a custom-made product may not begin until the required deposit has been received and the relevant specifications have been approved.
6. Client Approval of Specifications
Before production of a custom-made product begins, the client may be required to approve relevant specifications, which may include:
- Dimensions
- Materials
- Colours
- Fabrics
- Finishes
- Design details
- Reference images
- Other customization requirements
The client is responsible for reviewing the specifications carefully before approval.
Once approved and production has begun, changes may result in additional costs and/or changes to the estimated completion date.
Nothing in this section limits the customer's rights where the delivered product is defective or does not conform to the approved specifications.
7. Production and Delivery Timelines
Any production or delivery timeframe communicated by Cozyology Furniture is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Production and delivery may be affected by product complexity, material availability, customization requirements, delivery location, circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or changes requested by the client.
Where a material delay occurs, Cozyology Furniture will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer.
Any mandatory rights concerning delivery under Egyptian law remain unaffected.
8. Order Modifications and Cancellations
Requests to modify or cancel an order should be made as soon as possible.
For standard products, cancellation requests will be handled according to the order's status and applicable consumer law.
For custom-made products, cancellation or modification may be restricted once materials have been ordered or production has commenced.
Any additional cost arising from a customer-requested modification after approval may be communicated to the customer before the modification proceeds.
These provisions do not restrict any mandatory cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights provided by Egyptian law.
9. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
Returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled in accordance with applicable Egyptian consumer protection requirements.
For eligible standard products, customers may have the right to exchange or return the product and receive a refund within 14 days of receipt, subject to the conditions and exceptions permitted by law.
Egypt's Consumer Protection Agency identifies exceptions to the general 14-day return right, including products manufactured according to specifications specifically determined by the consumer where the product conforms to those specifications.
Accordingly, custom-made products that conform to the client-approved specifications cannot normally be returned merely because the client has changed their mind, subject always to mandatory rights under Egyptian law.
Defective Products
If a product is defective, the customer should contact Cozyology Furniture as soon as reasonably possible.
Customers have applicable rights concerning defective products for 30 days from receipt, rather than the previously stated 48-hour notification period. The Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency states that consumers may return or exchange defective goods within 30 days of receipt, with the applicable remedy provided without additional cost.
Nothing in these Terms limits any additional statutory rights that may apply.
10. Two-Year Warranty
Cozyology Furniture provides a two-year warranty on products covered by its warranty, beginning from the applicable purchase or delivery date as specified in the relevant warranty documentation.
The warranty covers qualifying manufacturing defects and defects in materials or workmanship under normal intended use.
Subject to applicable law and the specific nature of the defect, the appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, or another legally required remedy.
The warranty does not ordinarily cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, improper handling, unauthorized modifications or repairs, failure to follow care instructions, abnormal environmental conditions, or ordinary wear and tear, to the extent such exclusions are permitted by law.
The warranty does not exclude or replace mandatory consumer rights under Egyptian law.
11. Shipping and Transportation
Shipping charges are not included in displayed product prices unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery charges depend on the applicable delivery zone, location, product, and/or transportation requirements.
Where a location falls outside Cozyology Furniture's standard delivery zones, the customer may be required to contact us to obtain and agree on a delivery quotation before the order can proceed.
Shipping zones and rates displayed on the website are subject to Cozyology Furniture's approved shipping arrangements.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.
Additional costs resulting from incorrect delivery information, inaccessible premises, unusual delivery requirements, or customer-requested changes may be communicated before additional services are provided, subject to applicable law.
12. Delivery and Acceptance
Customers should inspect their products upon delivery where reasonably possible.
Signing a delivery document or accepting delivery does not waive any mandatory rights relating to defects that could not reasonably have been identified during delivery.
For custom-made orders, final acceptance confirms receipt of the product but does not remove any statutory rights relating to defects or failure to conform to the approved specifications.
13. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Cozyology Furniture website and its content—including text, photographs, product images, graphics, designs, logos, videos, website layouts, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Cozyology Furniture.
Such content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited, or used without authorization except where permitted by applicable law.
Customers who provide reference images or other materials for customization confirm that they have the right to provide those materials for the requested purpose.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cozyology Furniture will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by Egyptian law, nor does anything in these Terms exclude or restrict mandatory consumer rights.
15. Privacy and Personal Data
Personal information collected through the website, checkout, customization process, customer communications, and order fulfilment is handled in accordance with Cozyology Furniture's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.
Customers should review the Privacy Policy for information about what personal data is collected, why it is processed, when it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and the rights available regarding personal information.
16. Shopify Point of Sale
Cozyology Furniture's online store operates through Shopify for its e-commerce functionality.
Shopify POS is not used for Cozyology Furniture's current sales process.
This does not affect orders placed through the Cozyology Furniture website or other sales arrangements expressly agreed with the company.
17. Website Policies
These Terms and Conditions should be read together with Cozyology Furniture's other applicable policies, including its:
Privacy Policy and Returns/Refund Policy.
Where website content conflicts with mandatory Egyptian consumer law, applicable mandatory law will prevail.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions and purchases made from Cozyology Furniture are governed by the applicable laws and regulations of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Nothing in this provision prevents a consumer from exercising any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable Egyptian consumer protection law.
19. Complaints and Customer Support
Customers who have questions, complaints, warranty claims, return requests, or concerns regarding an order should contact Cozyology Furniture through the official contact information published on the website.
Customers should provide relevant information such as their name, order number, contact information, description of the issue, and supporting photographs or documentation where appropriate.
Where a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, the customer retains the right to use any complaint or dispute-resolution procedure available under Egyptian law, including applicable procedures of Egypt's Consumer Protection Agency.
20. Changes to These Terms
Cozyology Furniture may update these Terms and Conditions when reasonably necessary to reflect changes to its operations, website, products, services, or applicable legal requirements.
The version applicable to an order will generally be the version in effect when the order is placed, subject to applicable law.
